Toshi and Mayuko Yoshida own the Coffee and Roses Express, a cozy shop near downtown Greensboro, NC. The shop has been a favorite of customers for nearby 2 years, combining the Western love for a good cup of coffee with Eastern traditions.
Toshi Yoshida has kept fresh roses since he was a young man selling bouquets in Washington, DC markets. He also managed a florist's shop in Durham NC before moving to Greensboro with his wife, Mayuko.
Mayuko Yoshida moved to America from Japan in 1995. She met Toshi in Washington, DC. They married and Mayuko joined Toshi's table selling Fresh Roses out on the busy DC streets.
The family moved to NC 8 years ago.
Today, Toshi and Mayuko still provide the freshest roses for the lowest price in Greensboro on Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.
Customers come to Coffee & Roses Express shop to purchase one of the best cups available in town. Their brew, it is said, beats the " Shop down the street " In fact, our shop was chosen as one of TOP 10 on YES Weekly Newspaper.
