 Hi, My name is Karen Furman and I'm a born and raised native of Greensboro, North Carolina. In the Spring of 2006, I began a jewelry designing company out of my home called Silver Pines Jewelry.
Through this business, I've enjoyed attending local craft shows and festivals, and providing custom made sets for Weddings custom made sets for Weddings and other special occasions .All pieces that I design are mede with 100% sterling silver and a variety of unique glass beads and semi-precious gemstones. Many of these gemstone sets provide unique and personal meanings.
For example, Agate, known to be one of the oldest stones in recorded history, is believed to strengthen your ability to concentrate and reach conclusions.Fluorite, also a beautiful stone, with swirls of lavender, green, and pink, symbolizes purification and harmony! Jasper is a very popular stone found in a wide range of colors. It stands for the courage to speak out and stand up for personal freedom. Turquoise, when given as a gift, is a pledge of love and affection! Nearly ever culture in history has held the belief that colored stones possess the ability to endow the wearer with special attributes!
